Wenzhou Medical University is a provincial public medical university on China's south-east coast, in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, co-built by the National Health Commission, the Ministry of Education and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government.温州医科大学是位于中国东南沿海浙江省温州市的省属公立医科大学，由国家卫生健康委员会、教育部和浙江省人民政府共建。

It traces its origin to the Zhejiang Medical Specialised School of 1912 and was established in Wenzhou in August 1958 as a branch of Zhejiang Medical College, taking its present name in 2013 after more than five decades as a college.学校校史可追溯至 1912 年创办的浙江医学专门学校，1958 年 8 月由浙江医学院分迁至温州建校，在经历五十余年学院岁月后于 2013 年更名为现名。

History

• The university traces its origin to the Zhejiang Medical Specialised School, founded in 1912 in the first year of the Republic, from which the Hangzhou-based Zhejiang Medical College descended.学校校史可追溯至 1912 年民国元年创办的浙江医学专门学校，位于杭州的浙江医学院即由其发展而来。
