University of Windsor

The University of Windsor (UWindsor, U of W or UWin) is a public research university in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and the country's southernmost university, sitting directly across the Detroit River from Detroit, Michigan.温莎大学（University of Windsor，简称 UWindsor 或 UWin）是加拿大安大略省温莎市的一所公立研究型大学，也是加拿大最南端的大学，隔底特律河与密歇根州底特律市相望。

History

• The university dates to the founding of the Roman Catholic Assumption College in Windsor in 1857 by the Society of Jesuits, an institution that was primarily theological in character.该校的历史可上溯至 1857 年耶稣会会士在温莎创办的罗马天主教圣母升天学院，该院以神学教育为主。
