History

• After a meeting of more than 200 residents of Toowoomba on 2 December 1960, the Darling Downs University Establishment Association was founded to campaign for a university in the region.1960 年 12 月 2 日，在超过 200 名图文巴市民参加的一次会议之后，达令草地大学创建协会成立，旨在为在该地区设立一所大学而奔走。
