The University of New Brunswick, known as UNB, is a public research university with two principal campuses in Fredericton and Saint John, in the Canadian province of New Brunswick.新不伦瑞克大学，简称 UNB，是一所公立研究型大学，在加拿大新不伦瑞克省的弗雷德里克顿与圣约翰设有两个主要校区。

History

• In 1783 Loyalist settlers who had left the United States after the American Revolution began building on the site of a former Acadian village and named their settlement Frederick's Town, in honour of Prince Frederick, son of King George III.1783 年，美国独立战争后离开美国的效忠派移民在旧阿卡迪亚村落遗址上开始筑城，把聚居地命名为弗雷德里克镇，以纪念乔治三世之子弗雷德里克亲王。
