The University of Leeds is a public research university in the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England, whose roots go back to the Leeds School of Medicine of 1831 and the Yorkshire College of Science of 1874 and which received its own royal charter as the University of Leeds in 1904利兹大学是位于英格兰西约克郡利兹市的公立研究型大学，其渊源可追溯到 1831 年的利兹医学院与 1874 年的约克郡理学院，并于 1904 年获得自己的皇家特许状而成为利兹大学。

History
