University of Kufa

The University of Kufa (Arabic: جامعة الكوفة) is a public university in Kufa, Najaf Governorate, Iraq, created on 23 December 1987 with two colleges, Education for Women and Medicine, under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.库法大学（阿拉伯语：جامعة الكوفة）是位于伊拉克纳杰夫省库法市的一所公立大学，1987 年 12 月 23 日依高等教育与科学研究部之令设立，创办时仅有女子教育学院与医学院两个学院。

Its colleges stand in Kufa and neighbouring Najaf, about ten kilometres northeast of Najaf city and 170 kilometres south of Baghdad, and the institution now lists 21 colleges with roughly a hundred departments.该校各学院分布于库法与相邻的纳杰夫一带，距纳杰夫市区约十公里，距巴格达约一百七十公里，现设二十一个学院、约一百个系。
