The University of Galway is a public research university in Galway, Ireland, founded in 1845 as Queen's College, Galway and known successively as University College, Galway from 1908 to 1997 and as the National University of Ireland, Galway from 1997 to 2022.高威大学（University of Galway）是位于爱尔兰高威的一所公立研究型大学，1845 年以「女王学院·高威」之名创办；1908 至 1997 年称高威大学学院，1997 至 2022 年称爱尔兰国立大学·高威。

History
