History

• UConn was founded in 1881 as the Storrs Agricultural School, named after Charles and Augustus Storrs, brothers who donated the land and the initial funding for the school.康涅狄格大学于 1881 年以斯托尔斯农业学校之名创办，校名取自捐地并提供启动资金的查尔斯·斯托尔斯与奥古斯都·斯托尔斯兄弟。
