History

• The University of California was founded on 23 March 1868 under the Morrill Act of 1862 as California's first land-grant institution, taking over the land and property of the private College of California1868 年 3 月 23 日加州大学创立，依据 1862 年的莫里尔赠地法案设立，是加州第一所赠地大学，并承继了私立加州学院的土地与校产。
