Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) is a private Malaysian research university established on 10 January 1997 in Seri Iskandar, Perak, and is wholly owned by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the country's national oil and gas corporation.国油大学（Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS，简称 UTP）是一所马来西亚私立研究型大学，于 1997 年 1 月 10 日在霹雳州斯里依斯干达（Seri Iskandar）创办，由该国国家石油与天然气企业马来西亚国家石油公司（Petroliam Nasional Berhad，简称 PETRONAS）全资拥有。

History

• UTP was established on 10 January 1997 after PETRONAS was invited by the Government of Malaysia to set up a university in the country, making it the first private university wholly owned by a Malaysian state-owned corporation.1997 年 1 月 10 日，PETRONAS 应马来西亚政府之邀创办国油大学，使之成为马来西亚首所由国有公司全资拥有的私立大学。
