Universiti Teknologi Brunei, better known by its initials UTB and rendered in English as the University of Technology Brunei, is a public engineering and technology university in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei.文莱理工大学（Universiti Teknologi Brunei，简称 UTB）是位于文莱首都斯里巴加湾市的一所公立工程与技术大学。

Founded in 1986 as Institut Teknologi Brunei and raised to university status in 2008 before taking its present name on 1 March 2016, it concentrates on engineering, business, computing, applied sciences and mathematics, and design.该校1986年以文莱理工学院之名创立，2008年升格为大学，并于2016年3月1日启用现名，专注工程、商学、计算、应用科学与数学以及设计等领域。

History

• The origins of the institution lie in a proposal made by the Director of Education in 1980 to develop and expand a Technical Training Centre, a plan approved by the government in 1982.该校的渊源可溯至1980年教育总监提出发展与扩充技术培训中心的建议，该计划于1982年获政府批准。
