Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) is a public technical university in Durian Tunggal, Malacca, Malaysia, created on 1 December 2000 as the country's first technical public university and its fourteenth public university overall.马来西亚马六甲技术大学（Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka，简称 UTeM）是马来西亚马六甲州榴莲东加的一所公立技术大学，2000 年 12 月 1 日成立，是该国第一所公立技术大学，也是第十四所公立大学。

History

• UTeM belongs to a wave of Malaysian higher-education expansion between 1998 and 2000, when the government decided that the country needed a dedicated public institution for technical and vocational education.马六甲技术大学属于 1990 年代末马来西亚高等教育扩张的一部分，当时政府认定国家需要一所专门从事技术与职业教育与培训的公立院校。
