History

• The institution began in 1979 as the Centre for Fisheries and Marine Science of Universiti Pertanian Malaysia, the Agricultural University of Malaysia, located at Mengabang Telipot on the coast near Kuala Terengganu.该校的前身是 1979 年成立的马来西亚农业大学（Universiti Pertanian Malaysia）渔业与海洋科学中心，位于瓜拉登嘉楼附近海岸的孟加邦特利波特。
