Universiti Brunei Darussalam, also rendered as the University of Brunei Darussalam and known by the initials UBD, is the oldest higher-education institution in Brunei, a public national research university in Bandar Seri Begawan that was officially opened on 28 October 1985.文莱大学（Universiti Brunei Darussalam，简称 UBD）是文莱历史最悠久的高等学府，也是一所位于斯里巴加湾市的公立国家研究型大学，于 1985 年 10 月 28 日正式开办。

History

• UBD officially opened on 28 October 1985 as Brunei's first and oldest university, created by the government to widen access to higher education across the sultanate.文莱大学于 1985 年 10 月 28 日正式开办，是文莱第一所也是最古老的大学，由政府创办以扩大全国接受高等教育的机会。
