Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), known in English as Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, is a private Islamic university in Kasihan, Bantul Regency, in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and one of the largest higher-education institutions run by Muhammadiyah.日惹穆罕默迪亚大学（Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta，简称 UMY）是印度尼西亚日惹特区班图尔县卡西汉的一所私立伊斯兰大学，也是穆罕默迪亚组织创办的规模最大的高校之一。

History

• The university's origins lie in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education inaugurated in Yogyakarta on 18 November 1960 by the Council of Education of the Muhammadiyah Central Board, whose founding charter described the faculty as part of a future Muhammadiyah university.该校的源头是 1960 年 11 月 18 日由穆罕默迪亚中央理事会教育委员会在日惹创办的师范与教育学院，其创办章程明确把该学院视为未来穆罕默迪亚大学的一部分。
