Universidade Católica Portuguesa, known in English as the Catholic University of Portugal and commonly called Católica, is a non-state university in Lisbon, Portugal, with public-utility legal status, placed in the 791-800 band of the 2027 QS World University Rankings.葡萄牙天主教大学（简称 Católica）是位于葡萄牙里斯本的非国立大学，具公益法人地位，在 2027 年 QS 世界大学排名中处于 791-800 区间。

History

• The university was founded in 1967 when the Roman Congregation for Catholic Education issued the decree Lusitanorum Nobilissima Gens, formally beginning the Universidade Católica Portuguesa as a Catholic institution of higher education in Portugal.1967 年，罗马天主教教育圣部颁布《Lusitanorum Nobilissima Gens》敕令，正式创办葡萄牙天主教大学，作为葡萄牙的一所天主教高等教育机构。
