History

• The Valencian government created the university by a law approved on 27 December 1996, the Ley de Creación de la Universidad Miguel Hernández, which established a public institution seated in Elche.瓦伦西亚自治区政府于 1996 年 12 月 27 日通过《米格尔·埃尔南德斯大学创建法》，据此在埃尔切设立了一所公立大学。
