The University of Tunis El Manar (Université de Tunis El Manar, UTM) is a public university in Tunis, Tunisia, created in 1987 as the University of Sciences, Techniques and Medicine of Tunis and renamed by decree in November 2000, and it is the largest and oldest academic grouping in the Tunisian capital.突尼斯埃尔马纳尔大学（法文 Université de Tunis El Manar，缩写 UTM）是突尼斯首都突尼斯的公立大学，1987 年以「突尼斯科学、技术与医学大学」之名创办，2000 年 11 月依法令更名，是突尼斯首都规模最大、历史最久的大学共同体。

History

• After Tunisian independence the country's oldest teaching and research establishments, including the Pasteur Institute of Tunis founded in 1893, were gradually drawn together under a single higher-education authority.突尼斯独立后，全国最早的一批教学与研究机构——包括 1893 年创办的突尼斯巴斯德研究所——逐步被纳入同一高等教育体系。
