Tun Hussein Onn University of Malaysia, known in Malay as Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), is a public technical university in Batu Pahat, Johor, named after Tun Hussein Onn, the third Prime Minister of Malaysia, and traces its origin to a polytechnic staff training centre set up on 16 September 1993.马来西亚敦胡先翁大学（Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia，简称 UTHM 或敦大）是柔佛州峇株巴辖的一所公立技术大学，以马来西亚第三任首相敦胡先翁命名，其源头可追溯至 1993 年 9 月 16 日设立的工艺学院师资培训中心。

• The institution began on 16 September 1993 as Pusat Latihan Staf Politeknik, a polytechnic staff training centre whose task was to train and produce academic staff for polytechnics in various engineering fields.该校前身为 1993 年 9 月 16 日成立的工艺学院师资培训中心（Pusat Latihan Staf Politeknik），任务是培养各工程领域的工艺学院学术人员。
