Translational Andrology and Urology

Translational Andrology and Urology (TAU) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal issued by AME Publishing Company in Hong Kong, and it reports laboratory and clinical work on male reproductive medicine and the urinary tract.《转化男科与泌尿学》是一份开放获取的同行评审期刊，由总部设在香港的 AME Publishing Company 出版，刊载男科与泌尿道疾病的实验室研究与临床研究。

The title began in March 2012 and now appears twelve times a year, while its 2025 Journal Impact Factor stands at 1.9 against a five-year value of 2.2.该刊于 2012 年 3 月创刊，现每年出版 12 期，2025 年期刊影响因子为 1.9，五年影响因子为 2.2。

Scope

• The stated aim is to give readers current and practical information on basic investigation and clinical care in andrology and urology.刊物自述的宗旨是向读者提供男科与泌尿外科基础研究与临床诊疗的实用信息。
• Translational work sits at the centre of the remit, meaning studies that carry a molecular, pathological or biological finding toward a diagnostic or therapeutic use.转化研究位于刊物定位的中心，即把分子、病理或生物学发现推进到诊断与治疗用途的研究。

History

• The first issue appeared in March 2012 under AME Publishing Company, a Hong Kong based publisher with a family of English-language medical journals and a largely Chinese author base.创刊号于 2012 年 3 月面世，出版方 AME Publishing Company 是一家总部位于香港的出版社，旗下有一批以中国作者为主要稿源的英文医学期刊。
• Print ISSN 2223-4683 and online ISSN 2223-4691 were assigned at launch, and both numbers remain in use.印刷版 ISSN 2223-4683 与网络版 ISSN 2223-4691 在创刊时即已分配，沿用至今。
• For its first three years the journal was quarterly, running from the March 2012 launch to the December 2014 number.最初三年为季刊，从 2012 年 3 月创刊号一直排到 2014 年 12 月号。
