History

• The journal was founded in 1995 under the Ministry of Education and is sponsored by Tianjin University.该刊于 1995 年创刊，由教育部主管、天津大学主办。
• It began as a general natural science and engineering journal covering chemical engineering, precision instruments, electronics, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and materials.创刊时为综合性自然科学与工程技术期刊，覆盖化工、精密仪器、电子、机械、土木与材料等学科。
• Tianjin University signed a co-publishing agreement with Springer in 2007, and full text has been available on SpringerLink since 2008.天津大学于 2007 年与（Springer）签订合作出版协议，2008 年起全文在（SpringerLink）上线。
• It joined CrossCheck in 2009 and moved to ScholarOne Manuscripts in 2011.该刊 2009 年加入（CrossCheck），2011 年启用（ScholarOne Manuscripts）投稿系统。
