Teunissen–Cremers syndrome

Teunissen–Cremers syndrome is a rare autosomal dominant disorder that combines congenital conductive hearing loss from stapes ankylosis with proximal symphalangism, broad thumbs and first toes, short distal phalanges, syndactyly and hyperopia.

It belongs to the NOG-related spectrum of joint fusion disorders and appears in the molecular literature as stapes ankylosis with broad thumb and toes, because heterozygous loss-of-function variants in NOG explain most reported families.
