Scope

• The aims statement sets the frame in one sentence: short, innovative and provocative papers, written for a wide readership, across the broadest spectrum of the solid Earth and planetary sciences.宗旨声明用一句话定下框架，征集篇幅简短、观点新颖且富有启发性的论文，读者面要宽，覆盖固体地球与行星科学的最广谱系。

History

• Volume 1, number 1 appeared in 1989 from Blackwell Scientific Publications in Oxford, and the first volume ran to six issues within that year.第 1 卷第 1 期于 1989 年由设在牛津的 Blackwell Scientific Publications 出版，首卷当年出满 6 期。
