Symbiosis International University, formally Symbiosis International (Deemed University), is a multi-campus private deemed university in India, established in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar and headquartered in the city of Pune in Maharashtra.共生国际大学（正式名称为 Symbiosis International (Deemed University)）是印度的多校区私立「视同大学」，由 S.B. 穆朱姆达尔教授于 1971 年创办，总部设在马哈拉施特拉邦浦那市。

History

• Symbiosis was conceived in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, then head of the department of biology at Fergusson College in Pune, who began the Symbiosis International Cultural Centre to run activities for Indian and foreign students.共生（Symbiosis）由 S.B. 穆朱姆达尔教授于 1971 年发起，他当时是浦那弗格森学院的生物系主任，创办了共生国际文化中心，为印度学生与外国学生开展活动。
