Stress Biology

Stress Biology is an open access journal founded in 2021 and published by Springer Nature in partnership with Northwest A&F University, covering the broadest aspects of stress biology in plants, animals and microbes, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 6.4.Stress Biology（《逆境生物学》）是 2021 年创刊的开放获取期刊，由施普林格·自然（Springer Nature）与西北农林科技大学合作出版，报道范围涵盖植物、动物与微生物逆境生物学的广泛层面，2025 年影响因子为 6.4。

Scope

• The journal aims to be a leading international academic journal dedicated to promoting a systems-level understanding of stress biology by publishing cutting-edge research and systematic reviews on the broadest aspects of stress biology, widely covering plants, animals and microbes.本刊旨在成为领先的国际学术期刊，通过发表前沿研究与系统综述，推动对逆境生物学的系统层面理解，广泛覆盖植物、动物与微生物的逆境生物学。
• It publishes original high-quality research of all aspects of stress biology, including work that provides fundamental insights into the responses of plants, microorganisms and animals to abiotic and biotic stresses.本刊发表逆境生物学各领域的原创高质量研究，包括为理解植物、微生物与动物对非生物和生物胁迫的响应提供原理性见解的成果。

History

• The journal was founded in 2021 and officially launched on April 14, 2021, sponsored by Northwest A&F University and published in partnership with Springer Nature.本刊于 2021 年创刊，2021 年 4 月 14 日正式上线，由西北农林科技大学主办，与施普林格·自然（Springer Nature）合作出版。^[1]
• It has been a fully open access journal since its launch, with the article processing charge covered by Northwest A&F University and all articles published under a CC BY licence.本刊自创刊起即为完全开放获取期刊，文章处理费由西北农林科技大学承担，全部论文以 CC BY 许可发表。
• The journal publishes online on a continuous basis, producing one volume and one collected issue per year, from Volume 1 in 2021 to Volume 6 in 2026.本刊以在线连续方式出版，每年结集一卷一期，自 2021 年第 1 卷至 2026 年第 6 卷。

• The Co-Editors-in-Chief are Zhen-Sheng Kang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the State Key Laboratory of Crop Stress Biology in Arid Areas at Northwest A&F University, and Jian-Kang Zhu of the Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen, a member of the US National Academy of Sciences and formerly director of the Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.共同主编为西北农林科技大学旱区作物逆境生物学国家重点实验室主任、中国工程院院士 Zhen-Sheng Kang，与南方科技大学 Jian-Kang Zhu，后者为美国科学院院士，曾任中国科学院上海植物逆境生物学研究中心主任。
