Soonchunhyang University (SCH) is a private comprehensive university in Asan, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea, with a second campus for its College of Medicine in Cheonan. It was founded in 1978 by the physician Dr. Succ-Jo Suh, grew out of the Soonchunhyang hospital network begun in 1974, and falls in the 1001-1200 band of the QS World University Rankings 2027.顺天乡大学（Soonchunhyang University，英文简称 SCH）是韩国忠清南道牙山市的一所私立综合性大学，其医学院另设于天安市。该校由医学博士徐锡祖于 1978 年创办，以 1974 年创办的顺天乡医院体系为依托发展而来，在 2027 年 QS 世界大学排名中位列 1001-1200 区间。

History

• The university was founded by Dr. Succ-Jo Suh, a neurologist who graduated from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine in 1946 and later trained at Cornell University and at Bellevue Hospital in New York. • The university's motto is given as service, truth and practice, written 봉사, 진리, 실천, and its slogan is Shine Your Way. • Dr. Succ-Jo Suh, who lived from 1921 to 1999, founded the hospital in 1974 and the college in 1978, studied at Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine and Cornell University, and laid the foundation of neuroscience in Korea.徐锡祖（Dr. Succ-Jo Suh，1921 年至 1999 年）于 1974 年创办医院、1978 年创办医学院，曾先后就读于京都医科大学与康奈尔大学，奠定了韩国神经科学的基础。
