Simon Fraser University (SFU) is a public research university in British Columbia, Canada, maintaining three campuses in Greater Vancouver, at Burnaby (the main campus on top of Burnaby Mountain), at Surrey in Central City and across downtown Vancouver.西蒙弗雷泽大学（Simon Fraser University，简称SFU）是加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省的一所公立研究型大学，在大温哥华地区设有三个校区：本拿比主校区（坐落于本拿比山顶）、位于素里中央城的素里校区，以及散布于温哥华市中心的温哥华校区。

The university was created after John B. History

• The idea of a new university grew out of the 1962 report Higher Education in British Columbia and a Plan for the Future by educator John B. • Educator John B. Macdonald, whose 1962 report set the university in motion, Gordon M. Shrum, appointed first chancellor in May 1963, who chose the Burnaby Mountain summit and later became a Liberal senator of British Columbia, and W. A. C.
