Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy

Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy (commonly abbreviated as ''Signal Transduct. Target. Ther.') is an open-access journal published by Springer Nature in partnership with West China Hospital of Sichuan University, China, carrying basic and translational work on signal transduction and the therapies that target it, and released through continuous online publication, reaching a 2025 impact factor of 81.2.Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy(常用缩写 Signal Transduct. Target. Ther.)

Scope

The journal describes its mission as the timely publication of the latest discoveries and progress in both basic science and clinical research related to signal transduction and targeted therapy. It covers signal transduction in physiological and pathological processes, as well as signalling-pathway-targeted therapies in the form of biological agents and small molecular drugs used to treat human diseases. [1]

The journal is fully open access and charges no publication fees to authors, runs a fast-track route for original research, and positions itself as a leading forum for research on cell signal regulation, on molecular abnormalities that predict incidence and treatment response, on targeted drug discovery and preclinical studies, and on clinical trials of new therapies.

History

Editors

The journal has three co-Editors-in-Chief based at institutions in the UK, mainland China and China respectively, supported by Associate Editors and an Editorial Board of scholars from numerous countries, who handle review and acceptance decisions.
