Scientific Reports is an open-access journal published by Nature Portfolio of Springer Nature since June 2011, covering all areas of the natural sciences, psychology, medicine and engineering, with a 2025 journal impact factor of 4.9（Scientific Reports，简称 Sci. • Covers the natural sciences, psychology, medicine and engineering across five broad subject areas, namely Engineering, Physical sciences, Earth and environmental sciences, Biological sciences and Health sciences覆盖自然科学、心理学、医学与工程，分为工程、物理科学、地球与环境科学、生物科学与健康科学五大板块。

History

• Launched in June 2011 with a purely open-access model funded by article processing charges2011 年 6 月创刊，采用纯开放获取与文章处理费模式。
• It was introduced by Nature Publishing Group, which merged with Springer in 2015 to form Springer Nature该刊由 Nature Publishing Group 推出，该集团后于 2015 年与 Springer 合并为 Springer Nature。

• The review process starts with quality checks, then assessment by an editorial board member, then review by two or three external referees评审流程先作品质检查，再由编委评估，随后送两至三名外审。
