• Before the present title was adopted, the information sciences content appeared as Science in China Series F: Information Sciences, which carried its own identifier 1009-2757在采用现名之前，信息科学内容以（Science in China Series F: Information Sciences）出版，并使用其自身的刊号 1009-2757。
• The present title Science China Information Sciences was adopted in 2010 with volume 53, and the volume numbering has continued unbroken from the Science China English series, reaching volume 68 in 2025 and volume 69 in 2026现名（Science China Information Sciences）自 2010 年第 53 卷起启用，卷号自《中国科学》英文系列连续编号，2025 年为第 68 卷、2026 年为第 69 卷。
