Science China Earth Sciences is published by Science China Press in cooperation with Springer for the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, with the English Earth Sciences series dating from 1996 and a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.5.《中国科学：地球科学》（Science China Earth Sciences）由《中国科学》杂志社出版并与（Springer）合作海外发行，主办方为中国科学院与国家自然科学基金委员会，其英文地球科学专辑自 1996 年起出版，2025 年影响因子为 5.5。

Scope

• The journal reports basic and applied research across the whole of the Earth sciences.本刊报道地球科学领域的基础与应用研究。
• Geology, tectonics and the dynamics of the solid Earth are core subjects.地质学、构造学以及固体地球动力学是核心主题。

History

• The Science China series began in 1950 under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the English Earth Sciences volume appeared in 1996.《中国科学》系列由中国科学院于 1950 年创办，其英文地球科学专辑于 1996 年面世。
• It was then titled Science in China Series D: Earth Sciences, a name it kept until 2010.该专辑当时名为（Science in China Series D: Earth Sciences），此名沿用至 2010 年。
• The journal adopted its present name, Science China Earth Sciences, in 2010 when the series was renamed.2010 年系列整体更名后，本刊改用现名（Science China Earth Sciences）。
• It is issued monthly by Science China Press, which publishes it with Springer for readers outside China.本刊由《中国科学》杂志社按月出版，并与（Springer）合作面向海外读者发行。
