Sabancı University

Sabancı University (Turkish: Sabancı Üniversitesi) is a private research university in Istanbul, Turkey, that adopts a liberal arts approach to undergraduate education.萨班斯大学（土耳其文：Sabancı Üniversitesi）是位于土耳其伊斯坦布尔的一所私立研究型大学，本科教育采取博雅教育取向。

It was established in 1994 under the guidance of the Sabancı Foundation, and its first students matriculated in 1999 on a campus of 1.26 million square metres about 40 kilometres from central Istanbul.该校于 1994 年在萨班斯基金会的主导下成立，首批学生于 1999 年入学，校园占地 126 万平方米，距伊斯坦布尔市中心约 40 公里。

History

• In July 1994 the Sabancı Group, advised by the Sabancı Foundation, one of Turkey's leading family foundations, decided to establish a new university.1994 年 7 月，萨班斯集团在该国主要家族基金会之一的萨班斯基金会指导下，决定创办一所新大学。

Academics
