Riga Stradiņš University (Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte, RSU) is a public university in Riga, Latvia, and the country's leading institution for medicine and the health sciences, named after the Stradiņš family of physicians and academics.里加斯特拉金什大学（Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte，简称 RSU）是拉脱维亚里加的一所公立大学，也是该国医学与健康科学领域的领先学府，以医生与学者世家斯特拉金什家族命名。

It was founded in 1950 as the Rīga Medical Institute and took its present name in 1998 and 2002, honouring the physician Pauls Stradiņš and his family.该校创办于 1950 年，初名里加医学院，1998 年与 2002 年先后改用现名，以纪念医生保尔斯·斯特拉金什及其家族。

History

• The first lecture in the medical tradition that RSU inherited was given on 2 February 1920 by the Swedish professor Gaston Bakman at the Anatomical Theatre in Riga, a landmark in Latvian medical education.该校所承继的医学传统以 1920 年 2 月 2 日瑞典教授加斯顿·巴克曼在里加解剖剧场讲授的第一堂课为起点，是拉脱维亚医学教育的一个里程碑。
