Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry

Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry (RiMG) is a book series of multi-authored review volumes jointly published by the Mineralogical Society of America and the Geochemical Society, begun in 1974 and renamed to its present title in 2000, with a 2021 impact factor of 8.438（Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry，简称 RiMG）是由（Mineralogical Society of America）与（Geochemical Society）联合出版的多作者综述丛书，1974 年起步，2000 年改用现名，2021 年影响因子为 8.438。

Scope

• Each volume offers concise reviews of the literature and advances on a chosen topic in mineralogy, crystallography, petrology and geochemistry每卷围绕矿物学、晶体学、岩石学与地球化学中的某一专题，提供对文献与前沿进展的简明综述。
• Both theoretical and applied mineralogy are covered兼顾理论矿物学与应用矿物学。
• Volumes consist of fully developed text that can be used for self-study, research or as graduate-level textbooks各卷均为完整成文的章节，可供自学、研究或作为研究生教材。
• Volumes are typically produced in conjunction with a short course but can also be published without one各卷通常配合短期课程出版，也可在没有课程的情况下单独出版。
• The series is issued as multi-authored soft-bound volumes in both print and electronic formats该丛书以多作者软皮装合集形式发行，同时提供印刷版与电子版。

History

• The series began in 1974 as short course notes of the Mineralogical Society of America, the first six volumes carrying no ISSN该丛书 1974 年以（Mineralogical Society of America）的短期课程讲义起步，最初六卷没有国际标准连续出版物号。
• It was renamed Reviews in Mineralogy in 1980, using ISSN 0275-0279 for volumes 1 to 381980 年更名为（Reviews in Mineralogy），第 1 至 38 卷使用国际标准连续出版物号 0275-0279。
• From volume 39 in 2000 it took its present title, Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry, registered under ISSN 1529-6466 in print and 1943-2666 online2000 年第 39 卷起改用现名（Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry），印刷版号为 1529-6466，电子版号为 1943-2666。
• It is jointly published by the Mineralogical Society of America and the Geochemical Society, based in Washington, D.C.该丛书由（Mineralogical Society of America）与（Geochemical Society）联合出版，出版地在美国首都华盛顿。

Editors
