Scope

History

• The Asian Pacific Society of Respirology, founded in 1986, began publishing Respirology as its official journal in March 1996, initially as a quarterly.（Asian Pacific Society of Respirology）成立于 1986 年，1996 年 3 月创办官方期刊（Respirology），初期为季刊。^[1]
• Shiro Kira was the founding editor in chief, supported by associate editors Norbert Berend, Yoshinosuke Fukuchi and Paul Seale.（Shiro Kira）为首任主编，副编辑为（Norbert Berend）、（Yoshinosuke Fukuchi）与（Paul Seale）。
• Philip Thompson took over as editor in chief in March 2001 after serving as an associate editor from 1997.（Philip Thompson）自 1997 年起任副编辑，2001 年 3 月接任主编。
• Publication grew from four issues a year to six, seven and then eight, the level recorded by the National Library of Medicine from 2009 onward.出版频次由每年 4 期增至 6 期、7 期、8 期，美国国家医学图书馆自 2009 年起登记为每年 8 期。
