Scope

History

• The journal originated in 1984 as Solar & Wind Technology, founded with Pergamon Press and edited by Ali Sayigh of the World Renewable Energy Network该刊源流始于 1984 年创办的（Solar & Wind Technology），由（Pergamon Press）出版、世界可再生能源网络的（Ali Sayigh）任主编。
• It took its present name Renewable Energy in 1991, and volume 1 number 1 opened with an editorial by the founding editor1991 年改用现名（Renewable Energy），第 1 卷第 1 期以创始主编的社论开篇。^[1]
• Publication moved from Pergamon to Elsevier, and the journal is now issued by Pergamon-Elsevier Science Ltd in Oxford with the print ISSN 0960-1481 and the online ISSN 1879-0682出版方由（Pergamon）转入（Elsevier），现由牛津的（Pergamon-Elsevier Science Ltd）出版，纸本刊号 0960-1481、电子刊号 1879-0682。
• In February 2017 the journal marked its 25th anniversary with a commemorative special issue and a history editorial by the founding editor2017 年 2 月，该刊以纪念专刊与创始主编撰写的刊史述评庆祝创刊 25 周年。
