Recycling

Recycling is an open access MDPI journal on resource recovery, reuse, waste management and the circular economy, launched in 2016 and published six times a year, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.2.《回收》（Recycling）是（MDPI）出版的开放获取期刊，2016 年创刊，每年出版 6 期，关注资源回收、再利用、废物管理与循环经济，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.2。

History

• MDPI launched the title in 2016 from its Basel headquarters, and the journal reached volume 11 and its tenth anniversary in 2026.（MDPI）于 2016 年在巴塞尔总部创办本刊，2026 年出至第 11 卷并迎来创刊十周年。
• It is published only online under the electronic ISSN 2313-4321, with no print edition.本刊仅有电子刊号 2313-4321，无纸本版，纯在线出版。
• Six issues now appear each year, and volume 10 carried issues 1 to 6 through 2025.现每年出版 6 期，2025 年第 10 卷即出至第 6 期。
• Web of Science coverage runs through ESCI rather than SCIE, alongside Scopus, DOAJ and FSTA.在（Web of Science）中经（ESCI）收录而非（SCIE），另被（Scopus）、（DOAJ）与（FSTA）收录。
• All content is free to read on publication, funded by article processing charges, and authors keep copyright under a Creative Commons licence.全部内容出版即免费阅读，费用由文章处理费承担，作者依（Creative Commons）许可保留著作权。
• The 2025 Journal Impact Factor is 5.2, up from 4.6 in 2024, with the title placed Q3 in green and sustainable science and technology at 58 of 114.2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.2，高于 2024 年的 4.6，在绿色与可持续科学技术类别位列 Q3，排名 58/114。

Editors

• Michele John, who leads the Sustainable Engineering Group at Curtin University in Perth, is editor-in-chief and works on resource recovery, sustainable materials and green manufacturing.（Curtin University）可持续工程组负责人（Michele John）任主编，研究资源回收、可持续材料与绿色制造。
• The editorial board is international and is recruited from established academics, with applicants expected to hold a doctorate and a professorial appointment.编委会具国际性，从资深学者中招募，申请人须具博士学位与教授职位。
