Rare Metals

Rare Metals is a monthly transdisciplinary journal dedicated to the science and technology of rare metals, the official journal of the Nonferrous Metals Society of China founded in the 1980s as the English edition of the Chinese journal Rare Metals, published by Wiley since 2026 in partnership with the society and Youke Publishing, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 12.1（Rare Metals）（《稀有金属（英文版）》）是致力于稀有金属科学与技术的月刊跨学科期刊，系中国有色金属学会会刊，20 世纪 80 年代作为中文期刊《稀有金属》英文版创办，自 2026 年起由（Wiley）与学会及（Youke Publishing）合作出版，2025 年影响因子为 12.1。

History

• It originated as the English edition of the Chinese journal Rare Metals and was publishing volume 8 by 1989该刊源起于中文期刊《稀有金属》的英文版，至 1989 年已出版至第 8 卷。
• Its online edition began with volume 28 in February 2009其网络版自 2009 年 2 月第 28 卷起发行。
• It was co-published online on the Springer platform from volume 28 through volume 44 in 20252009 年第 28 卷至 2025 年第 44 卷期间，该刊在（Springer）平台合作在线出版。
• Its earlier imprint had been associated with Elsevier until 2008其更早的出版归属与（Elsevier）相关，直至 2008 年。
