Qingdao University is a provincial public research university in Qingdao, Shandong, formed in May 1993 by the merger of the former Qingdao University, Shandong Textile Engineering College, Qingdao Medical College and Qingdao Normal College.青岛大学是位于山东省青岛市的省属公立研究型大学，1993 年 5 月由原青岛大学、山东纺织工学院、青岛医学院与青岛师范专科学校合并组建而成。

The university runs 35 colleges and a medical department across three campuses in the city, and its medical school is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.学校在青岛市内三个校区办学，设有 35 个学院和 1 个医学部，其医学院被列入《世界医学院校名录》。

History

• The original Qingdao University was approved by the State Education Commission in July 1985 as a comprehensive university under dual leadership of Shandong province and Qingdao city, with the province taking the leading role.原青岛大学于 1985 年 7 月经国家教育委员会批准建立，为实行山东省与青岛市双重领导、以省为主的综合性大学。
