Public Health Reviews

Public Health Reviews is an open access journal owned by the non-profit Swiss School of Public Health and published by Frontiers, founded in 1972 and devoted to synthesising and translating public health evidence for science, practice, policy and education, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.2.《公共卫生评论》（Public Health Reviews）是由非营利机构瑞士公共卫生学院（SSPH+）拥有、由（Frontiers）出版的金色开放获取期刊，1972 年创刊，致力于公共卫生证据的综合与转化，服务科学、实践、政策与教育，2025 年期刊影响因子为 5.2。

Scope

• The mission is knowledge synthesis and translation in public health, with the aim of informing public health science, practice, policy and education and of improving population health.办刊宗旨是公共卫生领域的知识综合与转化，用以支撑公共卫生的科学、实践、政策与教育并改善人群健康。
• Reviews of all formats are core content, from systematic reviews and mini reviews to broader narrative reviews and methodological guidance.各类综述构成核心内容，从系统综述、小型综述到范围更广的叙述性综述与方法学指导。
• Policy briefs are a distinct article type, condensing evidence for ministries, agencies and other decision makers.政策简报为独立体裁，把证据浓缩后供部委、机构与其他决策者使用。

History

• The journal was founded in 1972 and has changed publisher several times while keeping its focus on review-based public health knowledge.本刊创刊于 1972 年，此后出版方数度更替，但始终以综述型公共卫生知识为核心。
• Its Crossref record opens with volume 32 in 2010, when Springer took over publication and registered the back content under the 10.1007 prefix.其（Crossref）记录始于 2010 年第 32 卷，当年由（Springer）接手出版，过刊以 10.1007 前缀登记。
• From 2015 to 2020 the journal was hosted by BioMed Central, part of Springer Nature, and volumes 36 to 41 carry the 10.1186 DOI prefix.2015 至 2020 年由（Springer Nature）旗下的（BioMed Central）承接，第 36 至 41 卷使用 10.1186 的 DOI 前缀。
