Protein & Cell is a cell biology monthly founded in January 2010 by the Biophysical Society of China together with Higher Education Press and the Beijing Institutes of Life Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, now published by Oxford University Press, with a 2025 impact factor of 18.2.Protein & Cell（《蛋白质与细胞》）是中国生物物理学会、高等教育出版社与中国科学院北京生命科学研究院联合创办的细胞生物学月刊，2010 年 1 月创刊，现由牛津大学出版社出版，2025 年影响因子为 18.2。[1]
Scope
- Scope: the journal addresses the latest achievements and trends in bioscience and biomedicine, covering molecular and cell biology, model organisms, biotechnology and basic and clinical medicine.学科定位： 期刊报道生命科学与生物医学的最新成果与发展趋势，覆盖分子、细胞、模式生物、生物技术以及基础与临床医学等广泛主题。

History
- Founded in 2010: the journal was launched in January 2010 by Higher Education Press with the Biophysical Society of China and the Beijing Institutes of Life Science of the CAS, with Springer handling overseas distribution.2010年创刊： 期刊于 2010 年 1 月创刊，由高等教育出版社、中国生物物理学会与中国科学院北京生命科学研究院联合创办，海外发行交由施普林格承担。
- Indexing milestones: the journal entered Medline in November 2010 and the Science Citation Index in November 2012, turning fully open access in 2014.收录节点： 期刊于 2010 年 11 月进入 Medline，2012 年 11 月进入 SCI 引文数据库，2014 年转为完全开放获取出版。
- Publisher history: in 2023 Oxford University Press and Higher Education Press agreed a partnership, moving the journal onto the OUP platform.出版方沿革： 2023 年起牛津大学出版社与高等教育出版社达成合作，期刊转入 OUP 平台出版。
