History

• The journal was established in 1977 by the London publisher Edward Arnold as a companion to Progress in Physical Geography该刊于 1977 年由伦敦出版商 Edward Arnold 创办，作为 Progress in Physical Geography 的姊妹刊。
• It grew out of the Progress in Geography series edited by John Davey该刊由 John Davey 主编的 Progress in Geography 丛书发展而来。
