History

• The title began in 1977 as Progress in Crystal Growth and Characterization, published by Pergamon Press with Brian Pamplin of the University of Bath as founding editor.本刊 1977 年创刊时名为（Progress in Crystal Growth and Characterization），由（Pergamon Press）出版，创刊编辑为巴斯大学的（Brian Pamplin）。
• Nineteen volumes appeared under the original title, and from volume 20 in 1990 it continued as Progress in Crystal Growth and Characterization of Materials.原刊名共出 19 卷，自 1990 年第 20 卷起更名为（Progress in Crystal Growth and Characterization of Materials）延续至今。
