The Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, in Spanish Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and known as PUCV or Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, is a private Catholic research university located in the Valparaíso Region of Chile.瓦尔帕莱索天主教大学（西班牙语 Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso，简称 PUCV，亦称瓦尔帕莱索天主教大学）是位于智利瓦尔帕莱索大区的一所私立天主教研究型大学。

Founded in March 1928, it is one of six Catholic universities in Chile and one of the only two pontifical universities in the country, the other being the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.该校创办于 1928 年 3 月，是智利六所天主教大学之一，也是全国仅有的两所教宗册封大学之一，另一所为智利天主教大学。

History
