The Polytechnic University of Catalonia, officially the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya and known as BarcelonaTech or UPC, is a public research university in Catalonia, Spain, established in 1971 out of higher technical schools founded in the nineteenth century.加泰罗尼亚理工大学（Polytechnic University of Catalonia，正式名称 Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya，简称 UPC 或 BarcelonaTech）是一所位于西班牙加泰罗尼亚的公立研究型大学，1971 年由十九世纪创立的若干高等技术学院合并而成。

History
