Policy Sciences

Policy Sciences (commonly abbreviated as ''Policy Sci.') is an interdisciplinary journal of public policy science published by Springer on behalf of the Society of Policy Scientists. Scope

• Disciplinary boundary: the journal is interdisciplinary and international in orientation and encourages a diversity of perspectives. • Theoretical orientation: the journal favours works that either explicitly or implicitly use the policy sciences framework, without ruling out papers that fall outside it. That framework inherits the traditions innovated and elaborated by Harold D. Lasswell and Myers S. McDougal and constitutes a distinctive subset within the policy movement. • Open access: the journal is published as a hybrid title, so subscribers read the full text free of charge and authors may opt for paid open access. History

• The Lasswell Prize: since 1984 the society has awarded the Harold Lasswell Memorial Prize for the best article published in the current volume.
