Plant Communications

Plant Communications is a peer-reviewed gold open access journal published by Cell Press, launched in January 2020 as a sister journal to Molecular Plant and co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Society for Plant Biology, covering all areas of plant science, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 13.7（Plant Communications）是由（Cell Press）出版、于 2020 年 1 月创刊的金色开放获取同行评审期刊，为（Molecular Plant）的姊妹刊，由（Chinese Academy of Sciences）与（Chinese Society for Plant Biology）共同主办，覆盖植物科学各领域，2025 年影响因子为 13.7。

Scope

• It publishes original research addressing fundamental or applied aspects of plant sciences刊载植物科学基础或应用方面的原创研究。
• It publishes important technical advances and highly useful research resources刊载重要技术进展与高价值研究资源。
• It publishes outstanding review articles across all areas of plant sciences刊载覆盖植物科学各领域的优秀综述文章。
• It covers evolution, ecology, physiology, biochemistry, development, reproduction and metabolism涵盖进化、生态、生理、生物化学、发育、生殖与代谢。^[1]
• It covers molecular and cellular biology, genetics, genomics, environmental interactions, biotechnology and breeding of higher and lower plants涵盖分子与细胞生物学、遗传学、基因组学、环境互作以及高等与低等植物的生物技术与育种。
• It covers the interactions of plants with other organisms throughout the biosphere涵盖植物与生物圈中其他生物的相互作用。

History

• It was launched in January 2020 as an open access journal于 2020 年 1 月以开放获取方式创刊。^[2]
• It is a sister journal to Molecular Plant是（Molecular Plant）的姊妹刊。
• It is co-sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and by the Chinese Society for Plant Biology, and published by Cell Press由（Chinese Academy of Sciences）下属的（Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences）与（Chinese Society for Plant Biology）共同主办，并由（Cell Press）出版。
• It is indexed in PubMed, Scopus and SCIE被 PubMed、Scopus 与 SCIE 收录。
• It entered the China STM journal excellence action plan as a high-starting-point new journal in 2021 and as a second-phase echelon journal in 20242021 年入选中国科技期刊卓越行动计划高起点新刊项目，2024 年入选二期梯队期刊项目。
• It received a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 13.7, ranking fifth among all plant science SCI journals and third among primary research journals2025 年影响因子为 13.7，在全部植物科学 SCI 期刊中排名第五、在研究类期刊中排名第三。
