Phytotherapy Research
Phytotherapy Research (commonly abbreviated as Phytother. Res.) is a peer-reviewed medicinal plant research journal published by Wiley, issued monthly. Founded in 1987, it attends to pharmacology, toxicology and the clinical application of herbs and natural products in medicine.《植物疗法研究》（Phytotherapy Research，常用缩写为 Phytother. Scope
The journal's editorial stance sets pharmacological effect and safety as the threshold, expressly declining agricultural, phytochemical, structure elucidation, quality control and botanical identification papers unless they bear directly on the pharmacological effects or overall safety of plant-based medicines currently in use. It welcomes studies on the effects of common food ingredients and standardised plant extracts, as well as evidence of every kind from case histories to full clinical trials. The journal is a hybrid title. The subscription route charges authors nothing, while open access carries an article processing charge. The publisher publishes neither an acceptance rate nor a review duration for this title, and the library's previous notes of easy acceptance and about three months had no official basis and have been deleted. History

- Founding and first editor: the journal's first editor was F. J. Evans of the School of Pharmacy, University of London, with Elizabeth M.
