Pedosphere

Pedosphere is a peer-reviewed international journal in English, founded in 1991 and published bimonthly by Elsevier and Science Press on behalf of the Soil Science Society of China and the Institute of Soil Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 7.0《土壤圈》（Pedosphere）是英文同行评审国际期刊，1991 年创刊，由（Elsevier）与科学出版社代表中国土壤学会与中国科学院南京土壤研究所按双月刊出版，2025 年影响因子为 7.0。

Scope

• The journal covers the entire field of soil science, dealing with environmental science, ecology, agriculture, bioscience, geoscience and forestry该刊覆盖土壤科学全领域，涉及环境科学、生态学、农业、生物科学、地球科学与林学。

History

• The journal was approved by the State Science and Technology Commission and first published in February 1991 in English without a Chinese edition该刊经国家科委批准，1991 年 2 月正式创刊，为英文版且无中文版。
• It is sponsored jointly by the Institute of Soil Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Soil Science Society of China期刊由中国科学院南京土壤研究所与中国土壤学会共同主办。
• Five partner institutions and universities working in soil science cooperate in its publication五家土壤科学领域的研究机构与高校参与协办。
• It is published by Elsevier and Science Press with print ISSN 1002-0160 and Chinese registration number CN 32-1315/P期刊由（Elsevier）与科学出版社出版，印刷 ISSN 为 1002-0160，国内统一刊号 CN 32-1315/P。

Editors

• The Editor-in-Chief is Shen Ren-Fang, honorary president of the Soil Science Society of China and director of the Institute of Soil Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences主编为（Shen Ren-Fang），即中国土壤学会名誉理事长、中国科学院南京土壤研究所所长。
