Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Research (OLAR) is a gold open-access journal launched in 2022 by the American Association for the Advancement of Science in affiliation with the Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Zhuhai), treating the ocean, land and atmosphere as one coupled system, with a 2025 Journal Impact Factor of 5.4.《海洋-陆地-大气研究》（Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Research，OLAR）由（American Association for the Advancement of Science）与（Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory，Zhuhai）于 2022 年合作创办，采用金色开放获取，把海洋、陆地与大气视为一个耦合系统加以研究，2025 年影响因子为 5.4。

• Air-sea-land interactions and their influence on weather, climate, ecosystems and the carbon cycle.海-陆-气相互作用及其对天气、气候、生态系统与碳循环的影响。
• Physical oceanography, including ocean circulation, waves, tides, mixing and ocean modelling.物理海洋学，包括海洋环流、波浪、潮汐、混合与海洋模拟。
• Atmospheric physics and atmospheric environment, marine meteorology and air quality over ocean and coastal regions.大气物理与大气环境、海洋气象学以及海洋与海岸地区的空气质量。
• Cryosphere science and its links with sea level, polar oceans and global climate.冰冻圈科学及其与海平面、极地海洋和全球气候的联系。

History

• The journal was founded in 2022 by AAAS in affiliation with the Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Zhuhai), and it is editorially independent.本刊于 2022 年由（AAAS）与（Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory，Zhuhai）合作创办，编辑上保持独立。
• In 2022 it was selected for the high-starting-point new journal track of China's STEM Journal Excellence Action Plan.2022 年入选中国科技期刊卓越行动计划高起点新刊。
• The first volume appeared in 2022, and the journal has published one volume a year since.第 1 卷于 2022 年出版，此后每年出版 1 卷。
